Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. So scripture supports the concept that faith is now and it works in the now. God speaks faith now and the impossible happens and we can speak impossibilities in faith and they will happen. We cannot please God without faith and the whole universe and we were all created by faith. Faith is now!
Jesus always walked in faith and He walked in now faith. This is why people were raised from the dead and healed miraculously on the spot. Look at Matthew 8:2-3 “ man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
Notice that Jesus said I am willing and he touched the leper and said be cleansed. Jesus spoke in faith that is now faith and the leper was immediately cleansed. Further down in Matthew 8:13Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment. Again, Jesus spoke in faith and told the centurion that go and as you believed let it be done for you. The servant was healed at the very moment when Jesus said he was healed.
Faith doesn’t work based on our natural understanding because in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. He will direct your paths in faith and you will walk in faith and see supernatural things occur in your life because faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
So if a believer tries to move in faith by trying to figure it out with their natural reasoning nothing will happen. But when that person steps out of the natural into the supernatural realm then faith goes to work and the power of God is released. Once God intervenes in the faith realm anything will happen because nothing is impossible with God.
Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”.
God responds to faith every time as the above verse says it is the only way to please Him is to live by faith. There is a verse in Hebrews and Habbakuk that says the righteous shall live by faith. Jesus and God live by faith and many great saints in the bible lived by faith.
Faith is what God created the universe by because in the beginning He created everything by the word of faith.
