The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
The Lord is my light and salvation whom shall I fear and He is my life because He created life and gave us salvation out of His great love for us. He is our strength for life and He gives us breath, life and eternal life.
Our enemies come to eat our flesh and destroy us; they will stumble because God will stop them from harming us. David was confident when his enemies came to make war with Him because God would defeat all His enemies and He did during his reign.
David wanted to behold the glory of the Lord and he wanted to see his beauty in the temple all the days of his life. He beheld his glory all the days of his life and he worshiped God passionately in the temple.
The Lord is saying seek my face and we will seek your face and we will find you because you will let Yourself be found by us. We shall not fear because the Lord is the light of our salvation.
