If you love Me you will obey my commandments. If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15 If you love me keep my commandments the Lord directs us to comply with His commands. Our life becomes so much better when we obey His commands and walk in His ways. All of God’s ways are full of mercy and grace. He is always right in His leading and He always speaks what is right. All of His commandments are not burdensome and He empowers us to obey them through the Holy Spirit. If we truly love Him we will obey His commands and His commands are always right and they are full of truth. Where His commands are there is life and truth.
Jesus died for us so we would obey His commands and He will bless us if we obey His commands. Even if we don’t obey his commands He will still love us. But why wouldn’t we obey His commands? They are written and spoken for our benefit. He has given us wonderful commands in His holy word.
All of God’s commands have been motivated and given by love and His wisdom is always far above our wisdom. His wisdom is always far better than the demonic, earthly wisdom the enemy lives by and has polluted the minds of human beings for centuries.
James 3:17 “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” God’s wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy, good fruits, and without partiality and hypocrisy. God’s wisdom is always loving, pure and it is never double-minded.
His word He speaks to our hearts is always full of purity, wisdom and peace and it always enriches our spirits. His commands will always bring forth good fruits in our lives. He will never condemn us when He speaks to us and He is always looking out for our benefit. One word from God can change your life forever.
Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” His word is active and powerful and is able to judge our innermost motives and to show us our true motives.
His commands are so full of truth, power, and life that it literally can change our natures and life circumstances. It can change a person’s heart and outlook on life. He speaks healing to us all the time and hope and He loves us so much that He will never speak condemning words to our spirits. It is always in our best interest here on earth and forever to obey His commands. His commands will always prove to be true and full of life. So it is in our best interest to obey the truth.
