Faith the Assurance of Things Hoped For

Faith the Assurance of Things Hoped For

Gods faith is now what about yours? Look here: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the ]evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 Faith in God’s realm is now even if we don’t see it it is still now and what we are believing for by faith manifests now. It has been said that faith is the title deed of hope so we believe it we have it.

Hebrews 11:6 says this “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Truly if we want to continually please our Father in heaven then we must walk in faith and then He will release His power and glory in our lives. Hebrews 11 is called the “hall of fame of faith” chapter because of the feats the saints completed in God by faith.

Here are some of these faith examples: Hebrews 11:4-7 “By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.  By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Hebrews 11:8-12 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she[d] bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

These saints were under an old covenant and looked at what God did for them because they walked by faith. We have a much better covenant because our covenant is based on the finished and shed blood of Jesus Christ. God is no respecter of persons and He will do so much more for us in this new and better covenant. Faith is now, not yesterday.
