Changeless

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23;19 God never changes His mind and He never goes back on His word. Once He makes a promise He keeps it. He is not a man that He should lie because He cannot lie. If he lied He would be sinning and He cannot sin. He always fulfills  His promises. We change our minds and we don’t always keep our promises. Sometimes we even lie but why do we change?

Never Ending Help

God said He will help us in every circumstance so we rest in that knowledge. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’ Isaiah 41:13 What more can  God say or do then tell us that He is holding our hands and telling us He will help us. He is saying “FEAR NOT”  and if he is saying not to fear then we shouldn’t fear. There is an old but false saying that “GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES” this couldn’t be further from biblical truth because God will help those who will depend entirely on Him for help. If we try to help ourselves we block the power of God to enter our circumstances and help us. God said He is holding our hand not that we are holding His hand. He is taking the lead by grabbing our hand and holding it.

His Peace Is Our Umpire

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:15 God’s peace needs to rule every action, word and decision we make in our lives. If His peace isn’t directing us then we need to step back and see why His peace isn’t leading us. If we are headed toward making a life-changing decision, without peace, we make the decision. It could ruin our lives. We need to go back to the throne of grace and ask for God’s wisdom to help us make the decision that will allow His peace to rule in our lives. If His peace rules in our lives then we know we are going in the direction and making the right life-changing decision or not making the life-changing decision.

God Will Sustain You,Will You Let Him?

Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 and 1 Peter 5:7  casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Notice we have to take the first step and move toward the Lord and cast their cares upon the Lord. God invites us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. We bring our cares to Jesus, leave them with Him and He does the rest. We leave the cares in His presence by faith and we walk away freed from the pressures of life. What happens His peace comes flooding into our souls and He puts His ability into action. His power comes into play and He begins to solve the problems of life for us. The Lord has solutions that we never will think about.

Who in this world would love us enough that He would be willing to carry every burden we face in life. If every child of God across the planet cast His burdens to God He would take every single one of those burdens. But so many of us are not willing to cast our cares to the Lord and we try to solve the troubles of life ourselves. But there are some cares in life that we just don’t have the ability to solve.

God didn’t design us to carry the burdens of life but to cast them to Him so He can solve them and carry them across His divine shoulders. He wants us to rest in His supernatural care. Look at this verse Psalm 23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. We shall not be worried because we will have no wants because the Lord is our Shepherd.. He leads us to green pastures and quiet waters.

He meets all our needs all the time but if we are absorbed into ourselves  with worry  then God cannot do a thing for us. Faith pleases God not to worry because faith believes in God’s ability to produce for us. God wants us to  believe that He will meet all of our needs. He said He would Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”  God has unlimited supplies to meet our many needs.

salvation

God cannot lie so if He says He will carry our cares  He will carry our cares. He also cares about us. He loves us so much that He wants to take our burdens more than we want to give them to Him. We don’t need to sweat the hassles of life because God will carry the load for us. Psalm 68:19 “Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation!

God daily loads us with benefits and this includes taking all of our burdens and carrying them for us. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

One Thousand Years

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8 What does this verse mean? It means that God is so patient that he has unlimited longsuffering for His children. Think about how in the Old Testament how Israel rebelled against God. He was so patient with them He kept warning them to come back to Him. He warned them time and time again through His prophets to turn from their sin. He would have mercy on them if they would turn back from their sins. He was so patient with them and He is so patient with us.

Obey The Truth

If you love Me you will obey my commandments. If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15 If you love me keep my commandments the Lord directs us to comply with His commands.  Our life becomes so much better when we obey His commands and walk in His ways. All of God’s ways are full of mercy and grace. He is always right in His leading and He always speaks what is right. All of His commandments are not burdensome and He empowers us to obey them through the Holy Spirit.   If we truly love Him we will obey His commands and His commands are always right and they are full of truth. Where His commands are there is life and truth.

Endless Provision

Jesus’ supplies never run out, no never.  And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 How do we know that Jesus’ supplies are limitless because it says God will meet all our needs by His riches in glory. If God is eternal(and He is) His supplies are eternal which means they will never run out. The world may have shortages but God’s supplies are never in short supply. He always has an abundance. He made the streets in heaven out of gold and He put large pearls on the gates of heaven. So, do we think He will ever run out of supplies?

No Works Here

There are no works involved in serving God; it is all based on His grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. Romans 11:6 If we can work for salvation and earn God’s favor by works then Jesus died in vain. If we can earn salvation by works then eternal life cannot be found in Jesus Christ.

Stay Cool And Chill Out

If God says wait then we should wait. Psalm 37:7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him. God sees events like no other. He knows the beginning from the end so He has all the circumstances in mind. He knows when we need to wait and He knows so many reasons why we need to wait that we have no idea about. The verse says to wait patiently for the Lord and rest in Him. The key is to rest in Him while we wait because if we rest. He is able to keep us in His peace which is beyond human understanding.

Praise God And Win

Praise the Lord and watch Him release the unbelievable for us. Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.  Chronicles 20:22-23 Praise the Lord forever He is worthy.
