Live The Love

The greatest love chapter in the bible:1 Corinthians:13 “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not to love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not to love, I am nothing.  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body ]to be burned, but have not to love, it profits me nothing.

Jesus Walked On Water, How About You?

Shortly before dawn, Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. Matthew 14:25 Notice shortly before dawn He went walking on the lake to test the disciples to see if they would trust Him or not. Peter took the ultimate step of faith when He said to the Lord I want to walk on the water. Jesus said come and Peter did and while He kept His eyes on Jesus He walked on the water. He took his eyes off Jesus and He began to sink. Jesus said to him why did you doubt?” Will we trust the Lord of Glory and walk on the water and let Him do the impossible in our lives? Let’s walk on the water now!

The Shepherd of All Shepards

This is one of the most famous psalms in the bible and there have been many sermons preached on it and books written on it. The psalmist wrote about the greatest Shepard that there ever was-God. Here is Psalm 23:” The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Psalm 16

Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust. O, my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” As for the saints who are on the earth, “They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.” Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips. O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance. I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

I Plan Hope in Your Future

One of the most quoted and hope-filled verses in the bible. Jeremiah 29:11” For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God before the foundation of the world had a plan for every created human being that would be born during the ages. He had plans for people to be filled with hope but good thoughts for every person on earth.

Psalm 35

Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.  Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.  Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
